    • Excellent cuisine in a cozy hut at over 2000 meters with very friendly service. We’ve been coming to Mayrhofen for many years and the Schneekarhütte is THE hut in the Zillertal. Here, apple strudel is actually made with strudel dough, not puff pastry. The dumplings and Kaiserschmarrn are also unbeatable in any other hut – of course, you pay a higher price for that, not to forget the hot chocolate and much more!

    • Where to begin? Friendly staff, even on the busiest days (New Year’s Eve), easy to book to avoid waiting times, great food and good value for money. They were incredibly helpful when my friend was injured and couldn’t ski, going out of their way to make sure he could join the group for lunch on the mountain. Great wine list, cool atmosphere on both sunny and gray days. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back. Special thanks to Flo and Mara. You rock xx
