Make sure we differ between the regular arrival or the late arrival – if you arrive after 16h at the Zillertal.
Regular arrival:
HORBERGBAHN – SCHNEEKAR CHAIRLIFT – SCHNEEKARHÜTTE
(Pedestrian: from the top station Horbergbahn to the chairlift you have to walk about 100m, from the top station up to the Schneekarhütte another 100m)
Costs for a single ticket: about 14€
Late arrival:
HORBERGBAHN – UMKEHRPLATZ (ROUNDABOUT) – SCHNEEKARHÜTTE
Costs:
Transfer from Horbergbahn to roundabout ca. 80€
Transfer from roundabout with the Pistenbully ca. 60€
Luggage and preparation
We would suggest you to take a backpack if possible, because it is the easiest way to travel up to the Schneekarhütte. If you have more luggage we can organize you a pickup service.
Weather: dress to keep warm – make sure you are in the mountains. Sometimes it is possible that the lifts are closed because of the storm – we will pick you up, if you have a overnight-stay at us.
Costs
SKI TICKETS:
You can buy the ski ticket on the day you start skiing. There is a counter next to the Mayrhofner Bergbahn and next to the Schneekar chairlift. You can even book the ski tickets directly at us.

PARKING:
You may park free of charge at the Horbergbahn in Schwendau. During your stay at the Schneekarhütte you can park your car and go on by mountain railway.
